"Dom Gennaro Di Gennaro, Luisa Piccarreta third confessor remained twenty-four years in his service. Perceiving the wonders of the Lord in his soul, he ordered Luisa to write down everything that the grace of God was in it. Every reason to escape the obligation to write for Luisa were unsuccessful; even his limited literary abilities were not sufficient grounds to dispense write. Thus the 28 February of the year 1899, Luisa commença à rédiger son journal. Le dernier cahier fut achevé le 28 December 1938, when his fifth and final confessor, Dom Benedetto Calvi lui ordonna de cesser d’écrire. Forty years, Luisa écrivit en tout trente-six volumes qui constituent fondamentalement son journal autobiographique, whose title was given by Jesus Himself : ” Kingdom of the Fiat in the midst of creatures, The Book of Heaven.” And, Jesus added a caption saying the confessor extraordinary Luisa, Saint Hannibal Di Francia : « Mon fils, the title you give the book which thou shalt print on My Divine will : “Recall creatures order, the rank and the purpose for which they were created by God”. »
These thirty-six volumes constitute a complete teaching on the Divine Will, revealing the inner life of Jesus in His Humanity, the purpose of creation, the role of the Redemption, the return of man to his original state and the infinite love of God for his creatures… Ces écrits constituent de véritables catéchèses mystiques et ascétiques conformes au Magistère de l’Église. Ces Enseignements explicitent et éclairent d’une lumière nouvelle le contenu des Évangiles sans en modifier le sens profond.
The central pillar on which they are based is “OUR FATHER… Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done on earth as in heaven” as Jesus taught. The first volume tells the story of Luisa until she was ordered to write. It was completed in 1926 by ” Notes des souvenirs de son enfance”. More, Luisa wrote a large number of prayers, novenas according to the teaching received from Jesus to teach us to pray in the Divine Will, that is to say, leaving Jesus we pray as He did in His Humanity. At the request of St. Annibale Di Francia to year 1913 or else 1914, she wrote the “Hours of the Passion” auxquelles elle ajouta des réflexions pratiques quelques années plus tard. These hours were first published in 1915. There were six editions published in Italian received the Imprimatur.
Luisa also wrote thirty-one meditations for the month of May entitled : “The Virgin Mary in the Kingdom of the Divine Will”. She completed these meditations 6 more 1930. This book was published in Italian under the title : “The Queen Of Heaven In Regne the Divine Will : Meditations to do, in May. For the House of the Divine Will.” Luisa also wrote several letters and she maintained especially in the last years of his life, extensive correspondence with pious souls who benefited from his advice and lights she had received from Jesus to learn how to live and pray in the Divine Will.
In 1926, the first nineteen volumes (only writings available in this time) received the Imprimatur of Archbishop. Guiseppe and Leo “Nihil Obstat” Annibale Di Francia du Père, Censeur Ecclésiastique nommé par l’archevêque de Trani; en d’autres termes, writings are considered by the Church as being free of errors concerning faith and morals, as interpreted by the Catholic Church.
